The Eagles added eight players in the 2026 NFL Draft. Here's what to realistically expect from each rookie in Year 1.

Round 1: WR Makai Lemon

Projection: Immediate Starter

Despite lacking ideal physical measurables, Lemon is expected to start immediately in the slot. He's a productive route-runner with strong hands and yards-after-catch ability. Expect him to be the second-most targeted receiver behind DeVonta Smith.

Round 2: TE Eli Stowers

Projection: 20-30 catches, 250-300 yards

Stowers is athletically gifted (4.51 40-time) but needs development as a blocker. The coaching staff will design specific plays to avoid predictability. Limited impact as a rookie, but the upside is tantalizing.

Round 3: OT Markel Bell

Projection: Backup tackle, competing for gameday roster

Bell will compete with Fred Johnson for backup duties behind Lane Johnson and Jordan Mailata. Needs a strong training camp to secure an active roster spot.

Round 5: QB Cole Payton

Projection: Fourth on depth chart

Behind Jalen Hurts, Tanner McKee, and Andy Dalton, Payton must demonstrate NFL-readiness in preseason to avoid being cut. His 230+ pound frame could see creative usage.

Round 6: OG Micah Morris

Projection: Practice squad or 8th OL spot

Raw but athletically talented. Unlikely to see gameday snaps due to depth at guard.

Round 7: S Cole Wisniewski

Projection: Could start by Week 1

Has a clear path to meaningful snaps given weaknesses at safety. Former linebacker comfortable near the line of scrimmage - could emerge as starter if the team doesn't upgrade before the season.

Round 7: iDL Uar Bernard

Projection: Making the roster is the goal

Extremely raw prospect similar to Jordan Mailata's profile. Unlikely to play; primary goal is making the 53-man roster.

Round 7: EDGE Keyshawn James-Newby

Projection: Special teams contributor

His 4.51 speed should translate to coverage and return duties. That's his best path to contribution.
