The Dallas Cowboys are reportedly considering signing cornerback Adoree' Jackson. If you're an Eagles fan, you're probably smiling right now.

Jackson spent the 2025 season in Philadelphia on a one-year deal, and it was largely a failed experiment.

The Numbers Don't Lie

In his lone season as an Eagle, Jackson recorded 55 tackles, 11 pass deflections, and one interception across 14 games with 10 starts. The surface stats look acceptable, but dig deeper and the problems emerge.

Jackson allowed a completion percentage of 62.7% against him (the fourth-highest of his eight-year NFL career) and a passer rating of 80.2 (his second-lowest, but still not good).

Why Dallas Wants Him

The Cowboys would be reuniting Jackson with Christian Parker, the former Eagles defensive backs coach who now serves as Dallas's defensive coordinator. It would mark the third straight NFC East team Jackson has joined.

The Reality Check

Jackson showed flashes during the final month of the 2025 regular season when the Eagles defense started clicking. But outside that stretch, it was a mixed bag with far more frustration than good moments.

Philadelphia replaced Jackson with Riq Woolen in free agency - a clear upgrade. If Dallas wants to sign him, Eagles fans will happily wave goodbye.
