Luke Akers, the son of Eagles legend David Akers, will attend Philadelphia's rookie minicamp as a kicker and punter, continuing a family tradition in professional football.

David Akers remains one of the most beloved kickers in Eagles history. From 1999 to 2010, he was automatic for Philadelphia, earning five Pro Bowl selections and becoming the franchise's all-time leading scorer at the time of his departure.
