In the Eagles' 2026 schedule release video, Jalen Hurts made his feelings clear about one uniform the team needs to bring back: the white Kelly Green throwbacks.

Sitting alongside Saquon Barkley, Jordan Davis, Jordan Mailata, and Jihaad Campbell, Hurts delivered a simple but powerful message.

"I need the White Kelly Green," Hurts said. "Fans need that."

Barkley pointed to his quarterback and replied, "You have the power to change that."

Without missing a beat, Hurts shook his head with his signature deadpan delivery: "Everybody say that."

A Beloved Piece of Eagles History

The white Kelly Green uniforms hold a special place in Eagles history, worn by the franchise from 1985 through 1995 before the organization made the switch to Midnight Green in 1996.

While the Eagles have brought back the green version of the Kelly Green throwbacks for the past few seasons-wearing them three times last year-the white counterparts remain locked away in the vault, much to the frustration of fans and apparently the quarterback himself.

The Uniform Puzzle

Under current NFL rules, teams are limited to four uniform sets. The Eagles currently rotate between their home Midnight Green, away white, alternate black, and the Kelly Green throwbacks.

Adding the white Kelly Green to the rotation would require eliminating one of these existing options-a decision that wouldn't come without controversy regardless of which uniform gets cut.

Even if the Eagles decided to make the change tomorrow, the earliest the white Kelly Green could debut would be 2027 due to NFL uniform policy timelines that require advance notice for new additions to the rotation.

Fan Demand Remains High

Currently, there are no official reports indicating the Eagles plan to bring back the retro white jerseys and Kelly Green helmets. But with Hurts publicly campaigning in the team's own schedule release video and fan demand consistently sky-high on social media, the pressure on the front office continues to build.

The 13-minute schedule release video-the longest of any NFL team this year-featured the players sitting around a conference room table, opening envelopes revealing each week's opponent and sharing their raw, unfiltered reactions. But it was Hurts' uniform request that captured the most attention online.

Sometimes the best changes start with a simple request from the face of the franchise. And when that face is a quarterback who has led his team to back-to-back playoff appearances, people tend to listen.

The ball is in your court, Eagles front office. QB1 has spoken.
