Marquise "Hollywood" Brown signed a one-year, $6.5 million deal with the Eagles this offseason, bringing 4.27 speed and a chip on his shoulder.

A Fresh Start

"I feel like I haven't played my best ball," Brown said. "I feel like all that is still in front of me. Here in Philly, I'm ready to introduce Hollywood to the city of Philadelphia."

After two seasons with the Chiefs, including a Super Bowl LIX loss to the Eagles, Brown is looking to recapture the form that made him a first-round pick in 2019.

Career Numbers

In seven NFL seasons with the Ravens, Cardinals, and Chiefs, Brown has produced:

  • 371 receptions
  • 4,322 yards
  • 33 touchdowns
  • 4.27 40-yard dash speed

Last season, he caught 49 passes for 587 yards and five touchdowns in Kansas City.

Jersey Number

Brown will wear number 0 for the Eagles, fitting for a player looking to start fresh.

Roster Competition

Brown's $5 million guaranteed is "way more than Eagles have paid for WR3 in years past," according to 94WIP. But with Makai Lemon and Dontayvion Wicks also added this offseason, nothing is guaranteed.

If Brown can rediscover his speed and consistency, he could be a dangerous deep threat in Sean Mannion's play-action-heavy offense.

Philadelphia is ready to see what Hollywood has left in the tank.
