The NFC East rivalry takes center stage on Monday Night Football as the Dallas Cowboys travel to Philadelphia for a Week 7 primetime clash on October 26.
According to NBC Sports Philadelphia reporter Ryan Fowler, the Cowboys will face the Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field at 8:15 PM ET on ESPN and ABC. The matchup marks one of the most anticipated games of the 2026 season.
Two Primetime Meetings
This will be the first of two Eagles-Cowboys meetings this season. The second comes on Thanksgiving Day in Dallas, which was officially announced last week as the 4:30 PM ET kickoff on Fox. For the first time since 2014, the Eagles will spend the holiday in Dallas.
The primetime scheduling reflects the league's recognition of the heated rivalry between these NFC East foes. Philadelphia and Dallas represent two of the largest television markets in the country, making this Monday night slot a natural fit for maximum viewership.
Lincoln Financial Field Advantage
The Eagles have historically performed well in primetime games at home, and the Lincoln Financial Field crowd will certainly be energized for this divisional showdown. The Week 7 timing also means both teams will have had time to establish their identities for the season.
The Cowboys have invested heavily in their defense this offseason following a 7-9-1 finish in 2025, while Philadelphia looks to fix an offense that struggled down the stretch last year.
